Founder of Maddi Rose Virtual, based in the Western Australian Wheatbelt.

Like most people entering the VA world, I started out saying yes to everything. I charged hourly, offered every service under the sun.

The shift happened when I stopped trying to be everything and started building around what I was actually good at. I niched into operations, course builds, and retreat support. I moved away from hourly work and started pricing based on value. And slowly, the business started to make sense.

These days my work sits across two things.

I support service-based businesses behind the scenes through backend builds, systems, and operational projects. And I educate aspiring VAs who want to build something more intentional than a task-based admin business.

Because the biggest mistake I see people make when they start is thinking they have to become a generic VA from scratch.

You don’t.

Your background, your industry, and your existing skills are the foundation of your niche.

My business now runs in a way that fits my life, not the other way around. I raise my son, work around the farming seasons, and keep my client work intentional and focused.
